JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
! S4 A; {! f/ a# [4 h7 r1 q, }SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 7 p: k* n6 c* v7 D2 k. ]
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 8 y! S; g4 t |8 M$ a
of Course Pack production.* J* P) B: Q; q! I {
( M7 J% e. O& y) Q: fDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
, Q: |% T1 O% d: h/ T1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
" C5 O/ P# M0 _5 ~/ T! J! rof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.# k7 j' p% b7 x9 A$ b' |/ B ~
4 L* ~. T& y- T b7 _9 }2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 9 Y* @7 L6 l- {9 k/ H
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
, W! O% J' W, S8 H6 Z$ `; K% C% T3 o2 \% _, g- f, p
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
1 @& B9 `" A' mcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and }- ]% l9 j% F. n) Z( c
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

1 A0 q1 g# s' }8 p4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
9 e- f1 }. i4 @failures to the Operations Manager.% k% z8 x4 c1 h
% _& k2 g u9 C; l) e$ y' m5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, ' l W, u; ]' q3 Z4 B7 S3 @
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.) h' F# F4 J8 r7 D- H$ b b

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
; H, l( m$ c) o, T C0 |1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.- I" t$ A/ |5 i9 f
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
4 D% B, B1 J1 @- B! Y- S6 Askills." D" Q; \" ^7 q3 I% n9 Z; w& n
& g! k8 M: B8 V3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.# p& D6 _0 f. S! V o$ z0 C$ H
0 F! s; c8 }3 b3 A* Z3 [# M% i7 O4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
