This is a long term posting with the successful applicants being called to fill positions on an ‘as-required’ basis.

• Transport passengers to and from destinations on prescribed scheduled routes.

• Respond to customer queries concerning transit information.

• Adhere to schedules.

• Grade eleven (11) or an equivalent educational level is required. Formal training in driving or public relations will be considered an asset.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (operate bus controls, re-set trolley poles, provide passengers with assistance i.e. strollers, wheelchairs etc.).
3 p1 D; \# Q. T: b- y3 D, }• Applicant must possess a valid class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's license (non-probationary and non-graduated) and must have held a valid operator's license for (3) consecutive years.

• Applicant must provide a current driver's abstract (obtained within 14 days of the video test date)
/ p; o) t4 c/ kshowing no suspensions and no more than 3 demerits recorded over the previous 2 year period. ; e9 D2 @9 s3 G! g
• Ability to pass a written English comprehension test, a public relations video-test, a driving skill - f1 C" u5 d7 X9 n0 _
video-test, a Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test, a pre-employment City medical examination and a Police Security clearance (at their own expense, prior to training).! O8 G4 M g5 ]0 f5 `
• Successful completion of the ETS Training Program.

Thereafter: Guaranteed minimum 74 hours biweekly$ v! Q- c& `* Q/ e v% u' W
