Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
1 A! U2 v Y* Y }5 ^9 \6 F5 Gwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft- W' j* _; A0 q7 E; q- P) a
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
" ~9 q5 B& Z T5 D3 X2 i) BChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
& I+ h' M7 W0 Z# C$ w# y6 j4 Jartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.: `4 F/ l$ m% Y1 U$ g6 }$ O ~
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
0 T1 H/ G) l7 svisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the6 W" p. m0 @# M( {, [
recyclables.
9 P. x e/ p* K2 l) oFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
, h, T7 p8 F* {/ V, L0 `; h" P+ kpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
' K7 h; U! `/ I- BHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
9 M3 t5 u. g0 O& G$ H$ ethem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
+ J6 I J. s8 c- X2 A3 y+ rhours are part of this crew’s duties.
- R" ~3 |& X# x$ W$ [0 BInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
$ M/ g$ ]- C4 Z" n0 \! y- Cfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
/ _' r V/ j. N& @programs to visitors to the festival.
8 j. Q% ^" d: IKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
0 f. a. M! z" p5 s& Q% Ieveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.: P4 U' p9 v: h) ~* }! h
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed) ]4 v+ o/ V. j5 \8 i( M# b
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
a8 L5 F; ~; m1 P0 c# M# lfestival.
8 V/ \6 p0 C7 D, a8 ^Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is/ @! K: |; p3 m) a1 M
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you2 D! ^/ k" ~' B
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.( q3 e; t( c- _% T7 Y- B
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training8 g0 g' x. ?; {; Y; U
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.& P1 a4 K7 G+ ^# T) k
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be) G1 X! G T& X6 W1 F9 {
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as4 j. w7 o5 z9 @4 j( p
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival! K3 }, g; Z; J2 a" S
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
