followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to

SUB
3 m* q1 j' ~) H* R: C3 Htheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
: ]" S/ }8 J2 u) E$ W8 ~Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
% O; o( x2 p; [Achievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
0 X2 r0 E- Q, F/ ]Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
! \4 p# |3 M1 O- _- _1 dcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
