(Line Cook: Friday Lunches 11:30am-3pm)

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

/ w2 q# c( g  U+ Q$ l5 e4 v1 F6 @8 vDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
) l- M: y2 D0 z9 x# ?: _
) s/ O1 D" e' R# w% d: Z1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

! u9 F8 X! ]* k8 l" O% s7 R2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

9 ]7 x- T, z* A5 ?2 E1 l% h; S3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.
  {% A6 C1 r# G7 H6 o& S2 w
# ]! ^6 K- R( Z% h6 T: }, E4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
6 K" R; W7 d9 Y: q5 g" k& l9 {( ~: Rdeliveries.

5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
% O& \7 Y6 \1 F: g, p* ]shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations

: M8 k' `8 r4 b& X( u' }$ B% CQUALIFICATIONS;

1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

8 x3 x1 e  i& v/ d' C2) Previous experience with food inventories.

' \- G5 b, A; N( s) ]# M4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
! F  h+ U& N* B4 o& y. o
* F- u% |* g; P, C9 O" U( y) D: F5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on
