the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw ' \' I+ x, c% a( z# {& `
2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students' % |& v' H3 ^- }
Council in the manner set out in the Council Administration Committee % C# _* P+ B& P' A* @, S R1 M
Standing Orders by April 15 and serve from May 1 to April 30 of the % Z6 j4 M4 T+ j e: o& V* ~2 n

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 20001 L1 r3 \5 V s: R
' p3 X0 i; V. H2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.9 Z7 I# s( A' ]9 C9 G& I, y

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.! m: l4 R+ h/ i; b4 Y

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing
4 w) k" z3 v! I$ r z' [adequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations - v4 W0 i s f9 |
across campus, and advertising the poll locations.

5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/ 5 V& j4 _) v( j3 }' E' X
referenda.

parties.

minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday,

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting - f6 c( ^2 [% S8 l2 ~( y* m5 ]

13) To submit to Students' Council, prior to April 30, a final report

for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students'
