DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
( V3 U2 t2 X" C4 ]8 W' O/ _8 i& ](s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( L$ f: G( K! n+ I) ]* s1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

1 }) W- K4 ~. W( O3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
; i* Z4 H% ?. s" _, Wof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
5 Z: z7 r  \! i5 t$ x# Rconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
) Y4 X: U  S" e, P4 L! YManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

8 j* Q* U5 G9 k+ q" W- l3 p3 I: ?2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

5 i  @- B; s- [# I3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

+ I+ D' Z' ?2 M+ J! [4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
