7 X' l3 ^6 T, ^" ^JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
; B$ C; U9 ~. H. w- |policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

- M. ~2 Z2 i  XDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 e% r- x- x( g) o! w& e1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
9 m! G5 j+ Q* _  K$ Z8 o: hand are University affiliated.

; V: n% i% f: x& J0 ^, g2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
! U; Z* J( y  r4 I
/ E6 y% S+ v' W! l- k' o3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
/ ~6 _2 M% R- ?1 Z  B4 @of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
: S; V( e7 W4 E; M$ \" X! |! Jconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5 ^# }( q% L+ f$ j& `/ r; n" D9 k5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

1 Y4 p9 T2 T8 t- z- G2 b: T& b% h6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

4 _  \2 i: ^5 M/ gQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
9 S* q$ {: g0 [6 \2 i
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
/ G+ s3 y8 l4 d$ x4 |3 Eof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
2 e9 |4 P, a3 k# V* k+ d" H$ X0 @calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
5 y2 K* K; E( {& i
" T3 D6 d; {, W3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

" L; d  y+ r* @4 T4) Must be physically capable.

! t0 j- E+ a2 q5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
