DOORPERSON (RATT)

$ t# ~! J3 f# F1 ^JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

9 g2 t4 i- }/ a% K7 U2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

- L4 x& X" T0 B- H, ?. L6 R3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
1 l( Q& v: p* X( s1 }) L! mof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
6 t5 H4 N$ s5 ^1 Z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

/ ^( n: g/ R, f  \! o2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
* \" v7 k9 r3 w" J& w$ r" xcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
% q; _# E+ h( s' e" R0 M# M
7 \  q6 R! r: G" i9 v" c+ \2 `3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
