DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
( {+ G- B, N- ?; R' V# o- _(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

. m4 S6 I; s0 f* Q  }DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
+ T9 U5 }2 l6 hand are University affiliated.
% ^1 O7 ]! D1 J- Q- _0 Z- \
+ a1 K  b# }+ v: A% r2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
, X' Q* E9 |) h% H+ P1 \$ R; U
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
& H1 y# l* {5 x% D6 F( z! Cconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

5 [4 J; z- h8 j" O5 I6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
- e* \! X$ w: e- v& [$ ~/ F* P* M1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
5 }! X7 _* K5 Q# X
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
& O0 n* }6 \! {4 x' g0 ~of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
, F3 S% `3 o3 j; ecalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

$ b, x  Q  o; s% b7 ~- k3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
