$ b* b) \1 e; m7 ~JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( o" ^) F# I0 {/ s$ l1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
0 V: Z6 A! M% y4 V& Sand are University affiliated.
9 t; w1 |$ @1 l8 Z& ?2 V
/ _% y9 C$ z7 X2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

4 X( Y+ y2 V3 {" P- ~+ k3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
8 Z( A5 _3 J. O- \  X! u& N2 l0 P
4 v" J' c4 Z5 ^, `- c4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
0 a5 S' z) t- n8 o9 a$ Z  `consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  r' k- a/ _( |. X9 I5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
6 A) I# R2 ]8 y4 D* earea when required.

: h. w; R# o* L! e6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
& E4 I7 A8 h/ p; i+ oManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

4 V; x" B$ Q+ X  FQUALIFICATIONS;
: \2 }( O" I; C1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

8 @- i) p+ x' K4 @4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
