1 V5 B5 Z9 q4 o4 ?% kJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% T) [( a( h3 T9 s  F$ c7 [DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
. t/ I6 f) {) `0 B' ]and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

) y) ~5 o' C9 H1 N4 j3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
- `, L$ _; o* v" uof garbage.

& J& z8 x( h: f4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

& k1 ^- v' \  @/ i; ^6 v! x3 o' L* @8 W6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work

: a+ @/ o7 C. F; O2 a2 a+ ?3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

' |, ]) y2 ~9 M6 P$ Z' \" c$ V5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
; `: P# R8 D8 J0 E/ ]public.

Union Position/Updated August 29/2005

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
