1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
# S$ g9 }1 y8 Q' M( E2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
$ j* K0 I8 m e2 Y; [1 s. X3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. # v# } h/ v0 O1 j

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:" b. A0 {- Z9 `0 y, A% \/ o
! l& s- K+ u M' G' C1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. 6 C |8 Y) r a+ [2 f4 X4 J
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.2 a$ t6 s r: {# k5 t- \. G
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. 2 j1 G. \5 ?; O+ v
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous., r( B' K( {7 I
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
