ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. Community Initiatives Documenter
( y) X, U w7 ~The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

' B4 d) E& _9 }( QEducation Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

Qualifications:
0 N& `2 {) X C* V' e g t( n1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.
; D. I5 Z" V2 H" Q9 N0 K x2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.9 j; ?5 x' U# V5 t
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
; `' ^ b. h" L% X4. Team player and also able to work independently. Able to deal proactively with change and achieve goals through coordination with other people.
