ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter
3 T3 F% D6 |3 U+ fThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.8 v( Z8 C! 1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.5 Q7 V) u$ D6 z# |+ B" _2 |/ V: @0 b
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.! u# L7 S5 z$ E& X$ R
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
