Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 3 [& z& u8 n6 {" P
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, 3 @1 m$ T8 V0 e( l1 r3 U

$ Q9 i8 V4 w" u6 C0 m& {DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:# Y# e9 R9 ?4 ~' p& H
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

) ~- X2 b8 H3 }+ z! T, G, q1 w5 m( ?' j1 r
2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
" J2 [0 x# p2 zbar and debit floats.5 w7 b3 S3 S' s* }9 u
' V+ P8 n8 a& M+ x
3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of $ J, s; v) N& t) H, Q$ w
each shift, and upon closing.; Y: W4 z& R0 j S
* |. u/ t# P2 V4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
& V3 @5 O0 K& S; Aattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and 9 V: K, u, Y( e! y7 m
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
( b& o8 v, ]9 f5 [3 p; Z% Mstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
g6 g1 j) k, e4 \9 V% uproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.8 q# p2 r: l8 O6 U
7 Q8 J& a4 X+ S) L1 x% Z# q6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
2 U5 u4 ]# x: Z- b; F4 Amonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a * p" Y9 P0 ]) N: R+ _
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in ( Y+ Z- ~/ [% T5 F% `6 x& X- x

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a 7 j& _9 L+ t; a+ U; ~

QUALIFICATIONS:
0 O; `1 W4 G3 n) n1 R5 |$ U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.2 h! q2 z3 r# u8 [: r! N
4 K& `9 L& D7 J2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
& w+ p, [" c* v# u9 ~, C: loperation.* p3 W7 J2 j1 L2 ^2 E( ^. v5 F7 s$ L
- e! L) U9 ]5 K& f6 u4 S3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in % I5 M/ Q% U/ p' o) H
accordance with Students' Union policy.

$ v% }* @+ d9 U9 _: J3 O% g4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
