JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

customer service and room cleanliness.

2 w3 l( F( r/ ] kDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;* E u0 q# f# D1 y* z% z4 A( Q
1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a 6 ]6 Y6 X3 g5 p4 @1 Z8 ] O
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
7 o! X5 @+ E# T6 ?: aaccordance with Students' Union policies.# ?5 Z7 A/ v A" X+ l H; q6 s
3 A+ s1 X# Y, [$ {) P. p9 |7 \3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
( k# \0 O7 ]' S6 _total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,
' r' ~5 {5 E5 _0 x Y; i; c' |including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal
# v- e' H; @* f" V% uand ensuring floor surface cleanliness.. X2 o( n2 I, S
4 M" t1 i' g4 j R- E. r5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate
( d9 q; e5 |2 k) laction when necessary in accordance with established Server
( D4 k' P2 \- H" K- T" I- z& d" fintervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.6 a7 w+ ?) C' ]& l
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health $ b" B9 {; \) w) q/ ]0 L) G
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based

policy.

card transactions.

5) Ability to deal with staff, students and the general public in a
