Geography Research Assistant.

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for 30 hours per week.

- U1 o; x, z( O6 f6 r; ~This position is for 10 weeks total.

As an urban geography research assistant, you will be working on a! M- k5 N# ^3 v; v$ c
funded project to examine changes in access to healthy food in Edmonton
( F+ m* q" X' N; L1 S+ {4 [5 [between 1970 and present. Duties include searching electronic databases,2 A8 i5 m0 p# O( T) t
undertaking land title searches, manipulating databases and spreadsheets
7 e" |- n6 [8 M& V0 G: nand GIS analysis and mapping.4 X" u5 y, x5 S" J+ [, M
@2 `4 h' ?, g5 i; I
Qualifications include an interest in urban geography, secondary
" t# R/ |' S/ i( Q9 q1 Xliterature search proficiency, general research experience and GIS4 a8 t+ w! U% ~% g7 O$ P0 |, v! d
