4 n% N' W1 N* S. [0 CHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
. `. x7 x2 P$ {! v& fCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus& J" _8 o2 }, ^0 `$ ?) I, L" J7 O' e7 v1 L
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,. B( y! |- K: ` l% y# J! a
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for; a3 U+ q2 d8 {3 b
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and- ~8 _# Q x- q
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
* F0 Z, @9 d9 g3 B, Ptheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,; T* ^) a1 Q5 c4 F9 V
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking. G* N1 D7 ]! _' C4 h( C+ `
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city8 j, @9 ~: M4 B% r6 g# ^" E
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city+ K4 C/ U" H8 {; L# \0 u8 [
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night+ r; g, r3 U% k& z5 L% K
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
, D1 c5 Z6 Q/ Xfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
& P/ V& x1 ?# m. bsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint+ D. X0 B* ~$ S; M
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
. z9 H: j. X* ~ F* O" FCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate1 F5 N2 X& a9 {8 S# n
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
* n2 E6 i, h, }; H/ Hdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake' e- K1 e$ k U
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
' J2 r/ d$ _% fof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
: _! z, u% P) A$ tskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,- ]+ L; j6 H$ `7 C1 q" G7 [
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,! P) i$ i, g3 s8 K, I
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
