9195.  

5 S) n( M' i& A; _+ x' HSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

1 K1 i. W! B1 h% pDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
! |9 _! ^  J1 `) d6 Xtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
* w/ v) d/ z: s- g$ Z6 ~  Pfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
" F4 L3 W( c; @0 R! o" d5 bChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
