9195.  

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
+ u3 b3 W0 H4 g9 ttechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
. u2 ]( }5 |! m. U" Hinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
  G8 L- ^- v' w0 B8 e1 v6 Pcompounds by chromatography.

6 U) C7 E0 p$ S, ^- t: |Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
