Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
* L1 m# }8 A- o  `4 Binclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
2 R8 Z: }& p2 W; L0 Wcompounds by chromatography.

7 w" x) {: |+ q7 v0 oQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
! N- s0 h: S! sseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
0 _9 t9 _" M+ b$ G% P, M1 u) Lof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
7 k8 m5 i9 u9 x1 pand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
/ H  [) b+ D4 N* m% w$ J6 ?- P( Q, phope to work in these areas.
