, u. Q0 J5 B6 M3 s! J; HDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
" T2 F3 J7 q8 Utechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
* C5 W" k; Z' e  A# t" Hfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

& n; U* g' @# T: l; TQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
- r9 s- t) x/ danalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
