" D% V' p! {2 B+ tSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

! H, d- H9 X6 }+ q! Q. `Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
, a" ?6 W+ |# R8 |5 @3 ^8 utechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
, V1 [! d" |# ~( @for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
: D% J3 H9 r: Z7 Iinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

/ R# t( i3 Y7 H- KQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
1 `- k5 _; l& N2 l5 yThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
