Job Summary:
: a4 F) l& y$ `9 x; ~The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting." Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

- C% \% a5 i; o( EMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials5 `4 z2 o9 o) W7 }1 _
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials& v* R7 x$ K( _! P! k3 g5 k
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
. y; K1 ?9 J/ X1 K, Y/ D/ _ eMust be able to work safely at all times0 o0 g0 k. H# I, X
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently, b0 D, N% A" U. V( z3 j' z
Performs routine housekeeping.; t1 \! I2 |) ~$ T
Observes and reports any safety issues: o- w" v V6 E/ S/ m
Other duties may be assigned

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
" H- w& w) ?# u" D6 `; KKnowledge of non-ferrous processing( Y. {; @* V) H5 g
High school diploma (Or GED)
0 C& Q8 o, r) U' G5 { NWell-articulated and assertive
: r+ ]& Q4 ?8 N5 ?Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
