CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

! e5 m% H- V. |( l$ x9 r( q7 U· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

0 V; t$ _0 `; l2 Y! ]6 h4 Z· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

* \, F6 i5 g$ h7 W) E· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

7 [% G( K6 G- W( c2 {/ }" V  l· Operate manual and automatic shifts

1 h, N1 v& r7 v$ `5 G  z; TQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
$ \5 {9 d$ z$ P, n7 j$ C! e9 C
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
& f8 ?) L, ]1 [9 h
· Load securement certification

( H& ?' e: |& d+ E- w/ c( c+ `* g7 m· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

/ w7 l8 ]- _+ U· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

/ p5 Y! u3 S. y7 q· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
