CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

! b( b+ w- w* v3 d# h* Q
· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
. R3 E2 v( C0 {/ ^1 a6 s- Z
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
) m' f5 S4 N8 n) w' g6 k
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
- O) U1 J6 }/ x) [8 m
· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
7 V) s+ I, j. L, _
) J3 ]6 e5 @% @0 B1 z: s· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
5 X; C, |1 p) `Qualifications and Training Requirements

# l4 P! I. i* k· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

. D/ l- w- {* V# c% y3 I· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

. M7 [: y( r  B4 ~- W· Load securement certification

( v. p* R1 v0 C. Q0 r# G. ~* O+ d· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

* }& Y  d* Z  o$ |6 [· Excellent organizational and time management skills
$ O! O0 X3 D: p  H# q% l9 s7 `
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

8 c, p: c/ z" r5 V: f· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
