This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

( A, g' c6 J. W, q1 iThe procurement officer is responsible for:
* A- \) [. l, I. n& a-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
- S$ z! o1 X% Z-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
+ s' W8 d! R9 p" F% S# O: G$ H- {-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
/ V0 \' K! }% J4 j  B& w* H8 O-        Building and managing supplier relationships
0 o9 M& W8 [8 R' N-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

( \( m  f  O4 I; i  SRequirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
9 v8 K+ \9 \0 T/ v+ o& \5 N- Friendly and outgoing personality
6 b/ F+ N( A3 Q6 ]  `! C/ a- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- C! ]7 ]: ?+ ^4 |! v! k; D- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
