* v  x9 {7 ~1 M7 QThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
, \0 L! {$ T- s( i; o# y-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
/ v4 C* Q; m4 ?+ z3 B- u0 s4 P% \/ `-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
% N. ^- D' W4 ]  }-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
- \. R7 F2 c! ]4 s4 Z2 N) _* }-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
+ ?! M- f7 Y& l' b' x- P- Strong organization and time management skills
) O8 ~. U1 m, ^* w5 ?+ n- Friendly and outgoing personality
1 q& p4 D3 o* p' S- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
3 k* H  V7 {: X0 a+ D- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- L1 t5 q# P0 \7 i- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
