This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

8 J# q2 L. T" r, }8 u2 ~, V: yThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
+ k2 B3 M+ n+ x) E) }; H  K-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
% ?6 q1 ^$ i; j1 T-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

- ~  Z+ b, Q/ g" H4 T+ m+ _Requirements:
$ r2 _  j; m: l/ M- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  K. C3 }5 {3 ~" _4 j- Strong organization and time management skills
& f% D" W1 v, X7 w9 v1 {# R- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
& Z5 b. Q- \2 V2 r- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
4 j2 h  P3 |; A+ S1 Y- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
