Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
4 ?( S( L( v1 g; q: }- J9 g-Completion of a post-secondary education
) {+ u; N, b+ U' b- h' Q( N8 E' }9 d-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
+ c. R8 o, L. F- r* A4 g-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
. L* |, k- ?0 F0 v% z-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
5 L: e: w2 O7 t- E& V, Y7 C-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
- N7 I: J; J! v- O-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
