Essential Responsibilities:1 o7 B& B7 P% K3 w- S m- o; a
( _! n3 _& P# R3 t' K+ X: Z8 V- yPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.; ^1 ?* q" G. y
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.) A% ]% ]: j3 R
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.5 ?8 w( z t- w, q
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.

% Z/ P1 E% S# p+ s# H5 jContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.

Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
; K* m5 D; z8 A& P X- nCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
& M6 ~1 q7 B9 n* P1 PProvide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution) K; b- B/ J8 X; _4 I
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
* [5 |* i9 P1 a( ]6 `# ]0 z% SEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.' C/ o) j' d( l( } q+ Z$ O
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional) ^9 i1 T! W& T, e0 @
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed6 k% |! i u, l5 q2 C9 l
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
; `- {6 `8 m/ }* r7 ?9 DLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure: G4 t. x- b6 A5 A& U3 D# t" O7 _2 y) S
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College( H0 r) c% a/ [) o6 F
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.% V; B: z8 L1 C- K
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
! J6 g2 d' L) f; L: nExperience interpreting process control documents." k1 ]" z1 y. B" L- [/ \
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities. s% X+ Q n6 Y+ Q- b( v/ V# c0 H
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
! _( A0 p( B1 z$ f" k* r6 z; t" BKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies! q' L0 |2 Q' O ~9 b

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.' u* [, B; p; A& _, d# h
Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)) S X% Q [5 w9 h
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
- U; n- B9 V* I6 P9 c5 LAbility to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
