PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
7 s% o) a. p7 f) Q5 A) H: J0 [+ GConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.3 C" Y( C/ q7 n! f2 G9 r
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.& ]) D* w c4 I3 N. ~' Q
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
. D$ _2 ?2 J% I. E( d, @0 _; D: TInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications
_5 I5 E+ Z+ _) U m- x# GContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.2 p+ [9 \1 i# q4 h5 c) S
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
$ _: o: W' H6 |+ i( m4 lLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
$ w0 r, A7 r+ X! y$ dCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences* _. A9 y5 E( S! X2 i
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
* O2 o: c+ }& C! o% R! N% T. @Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed9 w( ]. ?( L. D- \; b
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.5 u7 M) X& Q% E
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
1 t x: z6 Y- U' n# V/ }; ?3 LParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed- R; q2 k( ~6 h; k/ @* h8 k
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing) ~* g1 B6 ^( ^% V+ F: u6 I
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure
/ ~, r0 V2 l( Q/ f3 V! Y& JOccasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.+ G( C7 W2 A* I3 ]! s# z% t$ C

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
3 h: {; f0 d. OTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.% T6 f1 o; V+ a. t8 o( i" c
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)9 W3 E2 H7 G! w, s- k
Experience interpreting process control documents.

Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
# n* ?! U3 f2 s/ T7 XMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.); N u' m6 L+ l* }8 t8 u7 \/ I
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment0 v; h$ N& X0 Q4 ~" T$ }
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents, ?& ?: n; w' l# X
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision% f( ^2 ]: g" e6 l! P( m
Ability to schedule, prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
