Design of transmission lines
9 }# L) V ?' S1 LDesign of foundations for transmission line structures
" X/ r0 P, j1 HStructure spotting 6 e5 s$ o+ P" g0 M/ S/ I
Preparation of specifications for the procurement of transmission line materials and structures
" q n& G& h N! u9 H* WHardware selection
0 k7 h/ N7 Z+ H# p1 NPreparation of scope documents for construction tenders and contracts
/ [9 X- U8 A% h7 O( X4 D$ GProviding mentorship to more junior engineers

The ideal candidate will be an Electrical Engineer, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of transmission lines in wood, steel pole and lattice towers. The candidate would have experience in interpreting Geotechnical Data, and be able to design foundations for transmission line structures. Experience with PLS-CADD or SAG 10 software, and periodic onsite construction support is a definite asset. You must be a Professional Engineer and eligible to register with APEGGA. |
