Job Description : Description of Accountability

W, _7 ?/ n( t; P4 SAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
5 ]; Y1 {3 Y' w1 N- G- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ; Y2 n) H* Q& @, o; z0 O
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. " f: _# t( _, \9 v' {
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& u8 t% q4 Q/ |5 c* G- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 0 N7 p# O3 F% @* v
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 7 @2 d- B% m7 Y4 v- f; @+ M1 |
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements+ ~& y5 }# U0 ~8 \: {

- Previous supervisory experience ?' R+ s4 J7 i0 i. p9 j. r
- Strong leadership skills
6 l$ \: h1 { E2 A! r) c- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 2 A7 p" t t% v- D4 P s
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
6 \# w# O! D7 G# s( d6 `- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
% K. @- O8 F- ?/ k2 U2 m Z, Z- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
