; d( d1 K+ V( E# @2 c8 tAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:" c* u& J/ W6 g/ z- o5 h

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
) l' d3 d* x7 D% P$ v- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. % P) {+ y5 m: ^/ p! r9 i
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 7 b' t1 ]* V, J/ e" `& J8 Z
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. $ r! w. t5 V4 l
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
5 |5 ^% A" C4 o- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience ' {7 U* k# R% ?* t# Q6 o: S$ s& o
- Strong leadership skills
; P; o4 F+ F! }* `+ ]% P9 b, h- A minimum of grade 12 diploma % k1 \+ v/ N4 O* x% u- j- g
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
' W- ^( M9 V3 \; F6 H& Z @+ s- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
/ t5 U7 y* l) h1 \; H; A' x- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.2 ]3 V3 P1 B5 j# C8 F' i
