& w2 Z4 m6 _& W! u* r# @As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:' h$ T- \( K! i5 k; n; Z' |; E
0 n! P" u# u* C& w# T7 l
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
# L0 q: f& e, y C0 I" u- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. + m1 }2 t( E& ?) G5 g
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
! D" _' V4 {% q* R. a1 S- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 3 `+ O" L+ l0 @/ s: h
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. # M7 J- F7 v3 K. B. e9 f' u
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ; @# P! ]' o. H }
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements

- ^9 ~ i, ~0 _- s- Previous supervisory experience
3 [9 C. v5 O. c" Q' n% C- Strong leadership skills
8 d) }/ K$ e. p$ C. {- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
& Z6 N! c3 D. Y i8 t! Z- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 0 f5 g3 D; e% \( F1 S, J( s( |4 S1 ~
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
1 y# ]" { `1 N9 c: G- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
