地贵房价高

又见炊烟

最近陪朋友找地建房，西南随便一块地都20多万了，朋友不信邪地跑去北边一问，地价也是20万一块，按此地价，随便一个2000尺的房子建出来就是五、六十万，这样的房子两年前建才20多万，一年前建也就是30多万，朋友觉得很CRAZY，举棋不定。

这里的地还特别小。我在美国的同学买的房都是半英亩的地，个别的也有3/4的。这里的地就是人家的几分之一。

租房只是donate的对象不同而已, 就象lease车一样, 到期车还车行, 你再去lease个新的.
买房是贷款买车, 每月的花销大, 到期赚个车.

Actually I am renting a townhouse, even though it is not as nice as your big house, but it is comfortable.

在美国的就都是好的吗？呵呵！你应该列举什么城市，经济状况等等因素，在同一个水平上来比较。另外，这世上出个一两个奇迹也不是很稀奇。

Edmonton is too cold, I am not going to stay here life long. That's true, if you can stay in Edmonton for the rest of your life, you won't lose money on your house. But if it is only for 2-5 years, you may end losing a lot of money.

+ _2 o6 J* R" _) S0 c8 P& ~$ udon't want to push you to buy. Just gonna tell ya the truth. The truth is that you will get benefits in a short period(1 to 3 years) renting a house. After that period, you renting will catch up the mortgage and then you will start to donate money to the landlord.

(a city which you want to live for life long, should consider culture, econnomic, envrionment, weather, Edmonton still has long way to go)
