在这里学会了做很多吃食, 现在向大家介绍一种面包, 很适合我们(至少我和家人)的口味, 也很容易做. 有时我会加一点全麦粉来替换白面, 再加一些燕麦, 更有营养. 可以手工做或用面包机. 如用面包机, 量一定要掌握好.也可以做成一个一个的小圆面包.* Y e& J4 ` x& k+ B1 ^6 ^

' X" I! `# f, c( ^4 + 1/2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

1/3 cup nonfat dry milk; I4 r( v' p, z) l. q
1 teaspoon salt# Z& q' ~6 T+ X8 A$ X; ^) l# N
1/2 cup pineapple juice/ C U; o( J) t: k. J
1/2 cup water' l, G/ R- s' L9 Y( I, N9 ~& V# {% N
1/3 cup shortening3 n7 v- k$ E8 N& M+ b/ D2 A
1/4 cup honey2 i S k% t7 M, t( I4 _
2 eggs8 f; L X6 F+ H- c
1 drop yellow food coloring, if desired* c* q2 r$ y0 z5 `+ f8 S

In a large mixer bowl, combine 2 + 1/4 cups flour, yeast, dry milk and

, 1/2 cup water, shortening and honey until very warm (120 degree) ;6 Z& p% `' h/ {. e" r" `" |" p9 U
shortening does not need to melt.)
( @6 }. j" t; uAdd to flour mixture, add 2 eggs and food coloring. Blend at low speed$ i' ~. D" d1 ?; P; J
until moistened, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually

' }7 {' A* g9 Z& Oin enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured

4 z a& Q- ] |$ nuntil smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl,
1 G, h2 I0 X' K" \) l. jturning to grease top. Cover ; let rise in warm place 15 to 20 minutes! H2 Z( x( k2 M) h
(30 minutes for active Dry Yeast).

Punch down dough. On lightly floured surface, shape into a round loaf.

to 20 minutes (30 minutes for active dry yeast). combine one slightly' _2 C9 {, x7 l$ Z
beaten egg and 1 tablespoon water; brush loaf. Bake at 375 degree

35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan; cool. |
