To become a probationary driver you must:

Be 16 years of age or older. + j/ L$ c% d, v9 M5 X: Z( V
Pass the standard Alberta Class 5 road test.

2。No more passengers than seat belts. ; _8 G5 ^$ K7 U! v: c
3。Fewer demerit points (8) are allowed than for fully licensed drivers (15).
