To become a probationary driver you must:9 Q, k2 \4 z4 E+ M t# X
& M0 o- h' C9 d3 W, b% U2 wBe 16 years of age or older.
* |* y% n- ]4 {+ [7 H5 ]7 BPass the standard Alberta Class 5 road test.

Probationary Conditions：7 E2 k5 `0 ^( [3 o% T8 _
, z3 P2 S2 S: E( @0 i1。ust spend a minimum of two years as a probationary driver.
5 i! [5 y7 d- z* a4 W! l2。No more passengers than seat belts.
" V$ G1 [& U% x9 Z9 }+ M, r" z3。Fewer demerit points (8) are allowed than for fully licensed drivers (15).

5。No upgrading to a commercial licence (Classes 1, 2, 3, or 4).
