Stage two GDL probationary (Class 5)+ b @" @. I5 n8 l8 T' Q
To become a probationary driver you must:
$ s# x' f6 A* ?8 s- G, z* f9 R, S- S* A5 z) T
Be 16 years of age or older. 7 z: x' E# ^5 ]% W/ Y6 I
Pass the standard Alberta Class 5 road test.

1。ust spend a minimum of two years as a probationary driver. & f5 j( q" B9 G, h7 D* @5 \0 x
2。No more passengers than seat belts. 9 F$ w$ G6 v( t0 c" x
3。Fewer demerit points (8) are allowed than for fully licensed drivers (15). 6 q( z- ?" H+ @, b4 n4 g0 q5 U2 i, Q
4。Have a zero alcohol level.
6 F5 H" e O: G) i' G4 c* l5。No upgrading to a commercial licence (Classes 1, 2, 3, or 4).
