Wang is facing charges of sexual contact with a minor, and sexual assault – for reported incidents dating back to between Nov. 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010. j7 @0 _+ V4 e5 s3 N( S2 I
6 C' x7 W- C& X N V, sChen is facing a charge of unlawful confinement of a child for alleged offences from May 31, 2010 to Jan. 29, 2013.5 j1 h) g7 ~3 r2 W! ?0 J" C

) k, K7 A" v; GThe University of Alberta issued a statement Friday, and confirmed the couple are both employed by the U of A, but are on leave.9 V; W% _! l b1 F
: G! C! R( ~) k5 Y' Y5 KThe statement went on to say cases of employees being charged criminally are handled on a case by case basis:
