The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

7 _9 Z! f( G8 u: ^0 o+ x2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:

3. Click on 'Search by Street Address':

, [( e/ C3 i# s# f( d4. Enter the address in the fields at the top right and hit the 'Find' button:

5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:! v: } o+ q* ^; y

) s9 C- I, _" I4 P2 R+ u( d6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:

7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':

8 c0 w* I, B: r0 _" J+ [* f0 K4 X8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:
