In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

  k+ e6 l* e6 Z' {Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
! j9 \' X2 }" A8 |Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
/ Y, A0 o& y: e8 xEngage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
+ [! M9 Z0 x- H7 x4 R+ e& Q% EBe accountable for decision and actions
( I7 _3 S; N% w3 u& IMitigate risk to the organization.

1 a0 W0 q* @, Y* L- O
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
$ H+ C) [! f1 ]" A+ H- f- W( B• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:

Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
; l6 v' T4 X# T4 l8 R" I( j, rProfessional:

1 L& _$ A( o$ e" e2 b4 I& O: w9 |, nCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
+ a# n- k/ D8 H9 X/ ], l
# \3 E) \# L9 k; P; }% }) \+ e- Q+ hCurrent or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
