LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
4 V7 y" a! x) k, b, L• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
" \# N4 \8 y: S   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
$ i" t; k2 Y; M( ?   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
( v" p! k9 A( V7 d( Z3 A8 X. ?. S   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
6 z5 W" {  E) H/ d, x. I• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
. G( y4 }3 f& r9 a• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
- b2 l  X0 I0 X2 s3 w• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

' e2 j. W! p0 Q: x8 _• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
# p0 C: [) x( u$ \" l" ?, Y8 J1 m% g• Excellent written and verbal skills
* |* u. p4 f7 m• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
9 L  G( D. C5 _  @   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
. u/ f( K1 Q0 i3 J  e   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
( [$ q' H" L( I  v0 o" {   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
7 H$ h- ?. {3 e; }3 s2 z! l( S& U5 ~• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
0 G/ L1 v! ]9 R• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
6 X7 ?+ R+ ~/ g$ s( ]+ `5 C: V• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
