EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
  y# G8 ^. r0 \' z9 i• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003

   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
, [) W* S; F/ k" H   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
# B& ~5 x0 o( h3 m% a   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
9 P9 `1 H# @; G' ]/ [• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
( V3 G$ z# ~1 I0 [4 n, _3 rplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:

9 w& i. {; I  _3 J) Q0 {- @   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
! N3 }: Q% F' x; H' S/ o5 f   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
! O- V- H' A3 ^   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
; d! h+ {" C4 Y2 K   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
( W" u. e7 C6 m# H4 f1 c• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
, @5 h1 y* ]/ F3 ?• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
5 M7 C$ w9 @* w  r9 f, {  ~7 j• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
  z( R/ a+ T( M# r, j• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
