/ W/ z3 g3 |. y- _SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003

   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
+ t/ T+ k2 {+ y) g   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
- r5 R5 x. R3 {( l6 L   o Linux based operating systems
, l! w% o: b  ]" Y7 c8 X* b   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
; Y  m- B0 h8 P• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
3 I/ V  P3 i/ v3 h* K: K• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
8 C4 u6 n: x6 ~; z- n8 Y• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
" g- w, S2 ^) c: ?; d8 o   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
0 c) f( o# w* l9 s1 J   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
2 _& R% b& f7 R6 P1 ~   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

" ^$ Y8 d% A) i' I: O• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
) z) l7 P# w8 A" B, g• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
