POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM
EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
) {0 Y9 R3 B7 [& {: P# f' a, P   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
4 X" i3 e( I: |( j$ @# F5 K' w   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
8 H/ t& v  \& u2 K$ _& s8 C  \   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
! y. y5 g, I; ~. D0 E0 `   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
; n+ h9 Z' z. q& I2 G7 J   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
* @) e; v* c( G' U+ A• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
/ ^# l0 {* j3 [4 k• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
& a$ o. B! G/ p4 e' j0 O2 P• Ability to work in a team environment
) n( j, {% _9 G8 ~+ }8 F/ ]• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
' J. Z+ h5 ?' X* f/ o* T• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
8 p: v3 G# U( A: M7 |3 a5 i/ \' x   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
! n) o4 i: O" U! Y( h0 F7 j+ }- p* `   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
% ]/ [( C7 R! m3 Q& ]   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

& N  g& [. a$ E( X: T9 I. o' y• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
% i, @4 D8 g  Q• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
% U8 b( r: z& m5 A' h• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
# L5 K! U! I* N: r9 ]4 C• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
! \% o- B) C! ]8 g) K• Have 4+ years of network design experience
4 g7 i( r& u8 p6 N; [• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
