If you are happy with 2-4%, I suggest standard GIC from any bank. Manulife advantage account is offering 3.75% per year for very short term (10 days etc.) & E2 ^5 g& f$ _* ^0 M4 B! R+ M, a# Q; G( W+ W
For longer term with inestment protection, I would suggest Seg fund where it guarantees up to 100% of your investment on 15years or longer term. The guarantee moves up accordingly to the daily market high for few years and you can sell at anytime with no obligation. $ u( _" H% L' f' A; a* f: Y1 f" u4 H8 e/ ~
Or you can invest into Income funds that generates fixed income (slightly higher than GIC) or equities as accordingly to your risk. High risk, high return. 9 c+ X$ A+ E3 D" n9 J1 p/ g C1 \3 Z- I* }4 X9 I8 o) @" r1 Y
