& R: |9 U, u5 \2 }; h" yPolice Sgt. Doug McIlwraith said Tuesday that Angela Ta has been charged with passing a motor vehicle stopped for a pedestrian at a crosswalk, failing to yield at a crosswalk, and careless driving.7 c7 H6 Z1 H- _
McIlwraith says the charges could mean a licence suspension, a $2,000 fine or six months in jail.+ h7 ?5 t, T6 o3 e% s1 I) n% U
Six-year-old Jenna Chang and her mother, Ye Qiao, were struck Jan. 18 by a black BMW while using a marked crosswalk at 32 Avenue and 37 Street N.W.# Z7 x0 [$ F# h' Q: a/ `
