I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
"I am going to send it back".
1 U* h% _7 _, V7 @I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
: U6 J' E+ N9 I- P! A2 w/ l' _He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
"Yes, I did."
. }- Q0 R/ U9 @; C( N$ PFinally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
) x5 V3 M" Z0 \1 x0 }. T! M( XHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
" d2 d/ k  V* P/ EHe took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
; j, D  r+ u" [4 W0 D, I& L8 w6 ZI gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
4 I% h( a+ n2 G6 |"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
; ~6 D0 X, z" B3 c7 m$ u0 D"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
$ w( H: o+ i+ @"I do not have an address."
! G  ^+ y7 G! N. [I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
6 k8 }, A5 O9 U2 m( K- cHe did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
5 Z2 h/ i0 t! B  d; G6 lHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
