if you use direct energy and epcor, you have at lease two admin fees 84x2, if you join them together, you only have 1 admin fee, 84 x 1, plus other save money plans. Hurry, transfer right now.

一点都不便宜。关键不是admin fees 而是price of natural gas。

they give you one month free at the end of the year, I trasferred in DEC. they gave me Jan for free.

你锁定了5年Natural gas $4.29/GJ, 而一般Natural gas的浮动价在$2.5/GJ ～ $4/GJ。就用$3.5/GJ作为不锁定价与你的$4.29/GJ锁定价+ one month free比较，如果以每月用20GJ算5年的纯费用：
不锁定价: $3.5/GJ X 20 X 12 = $840/年 X 5 = $4200
锁定价: $4.29/GJ X 20 X 11 = $943.8/年 X 5 = $4719

当然，如果Natural gas的浮动价逐年涨价，你也许会赚。不是没有这种可能，只是这种可能性非常小。原因是北美Natural gas供过于求，一向如此，5年内不大会改变。

首先，作为消费者我们只关心它的气便不便宜，不关心它破不破产！

其次，gas只会越来越便宜。原因有二：

1. 北美有大量的天然气储量，大得惊人，尤其是页岩气。目前已经供过于求。

2. 未来供过于求的局面会越来越严重。因为石油价格的上涨加速页岩油的开发。作为页岩油开发的副产品天然气的供应会越来越大！页岩油井一半左右的产量当量是天然气！

过去10多年的历史告诉我们，签订固定价格天然气供给合同是非常愚蠢的！

天然气公司就像保险公司一样雇佣精算师计算预测未来价格，将所有风险都打到价格里面，作为消费者想占到便宜谈何容易！

atco如果选浮动价格，无论是一年，三年，五年的合同，是随时可以cancel，不用付违约金的。就单价看，确实比direct energy贵，如果用量大，还是direct energy划算。不过目前atco促销比较给力，开户优惠，周年优惠，每年一个月的电/气免费(只是电气单价为零，其他输送费/管理费/固定费等还是要收)，算上这些还是很有竞争优势的。这些优惠，低管理费能持续多久，拭目以待！

分析的有道理，我用了五年的固定价，亏大了。现在转回Direct Energy Regulated Service.

当年ATCO既送电/煤气也卖电/煤气，在2004年把零售业务出售给DE了。

当初出售的时候签订的合同10年，现在满了10年，ATCO就又起炉灶搞了一份零售业务

总体来说价格还不错每个月可以节省admin fee, postive engery save.年底还有点优惠
我家以前ENMAX，转到ATCO以后是节省了不少。
