! {9 U; M9 G0 [# ?No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.
The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city.  
) V+ u6 f6 H% i4 e5 g3 O4 m1 oEdmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
The fire covered a large area of the ravine, Meffen said, but none of the nearby homes were evacuated.
