We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.- \' C j3 ~' l/ r! Z/ P

POSITION: Junior Accountant. W% ], f& L/ L

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
5 K6 J% X& R2 {- r2 k# W5 u# F• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.6 U9 R3 L N ~2 d
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
j. H! c( d( b ?4 s: Z• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.0 z2 {+ k9 w; b- O; ]

6 s* E# ]" A7 T$ S p• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role% z9 T3 F( _* p
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
, d0 I! F* N5 G; U- h6 t/ }/ s• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
. D5 O; H o* y9 D, @• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
