POSITION: Junior Accountant

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
; L3 @; C$ C8 W! p. i7 {% l• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.' @9 v: G9 B3 B2 y, v
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible0 X" Y6 M4 J4 ^
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
* o2 m4 t0 L3 j+ u7 L" U2 x S4 z a• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
! m/ V( D% e/ l* N: M! \' L• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
2 Z1 g5 N& R7 d2 Q* a; x• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers0 i0 T: q. y# s2 N; U) M+ Q
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
