When an employer terminates employment

An employer must give an employee whose employment is being terminated written termination9 w, B2 W6 {0 |+ m3 `
notice of at least:
$ f- W6 N6 P0 D. z2 { l* Z, d1 b/ E) W
• one week for employment of more than 3 months, but less than 2 years;
* v$ }: W& O" K9 k: ^% G( M• two weeks for employment of 2 years or more, but less than 4 years;0 i6 W5 q, H) c, P- e
• four weeks for employment of 4 years or more, but less than 6 years;% \7 e8 R1 ], ~2 T F) k
• five weeks for employment of 6 years or more, but less than 8 years;
9 p( ]+ }/ b) C) J, H• six weeks for employment of 8 years or more, but less than 10 years; and
4 I3 r2 ?1 j/ o$ @" j• eight weeks for employment of 10 years or more.
