Alan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.8 P5 g* t- j( r
) F# u& x8 k; rThe crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.( ], m ^1 Y" c' m5 X+ B
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
