反对C24的都是有双重国籍的人,如台港,印度,欧美来的加拿大人。 对大陆来的只有一个国籍的人如果也反对的话, 那么只能说他喜欢自虐。

Conservative candidate Tim Uppal said his party has an excellent record on welcoming newcomers.

Uppal also defends bill C-24, legislation that allows the government to strip citizenship from dual citizens convicted of terrorism or treason. He said when someone has been convicted and served their time of a charge as serious as terrorism it’s common sense to deport them.
& C6 q7 L9 F3 ?4 }2 j; r! t“If we can have their citizenship stripped, because they’re a dual citizen, than I would rather not have them in this country,” he said.

" e# s* o9 R0 f1 Q' \3 {Liberal candidate Amarjeet Sohi said the Conservative bill is discriminatory, treating Canadians with dual citizenship as unequal.

“If you deport a terrorist to another country, where there may not be any rule of law, where they can create havoc in that country, how does that make the world a safe place?”" S9 p+ F3 {5 P5 Q5 K1 e8 M
NDP candidate Jasvir Deol said the bill has many immigrant communities worried.
. X* B- a* F& h/ r“People are really, really under fear and they want to see these changes,” he said.
