经济低迷, Alberta政府增加酒税

昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:

On March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor
mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.

, C% U1 E/ J, ?; ^$ N1 g6 }The increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are
products from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’
5 ^3 z& g. M# W. z( Pgates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
& {$ F' v3 @" b4 x1 r# X6 zlitre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature
/ \. J; W4 P  y& {8 Fof Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that
are among the lowest in the country.

Some of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:
· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.
- Z( U5 |* |$ U/ k# w$ o/ ]· Spirits: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
. a. _7 r) l* g; X, n2 U· Wine: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
