Plant Payroll/AP permanent position

Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
4 I" c1 Q( ~  I: a/ g, E•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
0 J& X" N6 d' ~1 c•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
% a3 q: T4 T5 a' I•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
•Perform AP Invoice matching
. b  `2 \: \, n; L* M( z•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
