Immigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. 0 n. D( u9 |3 F Z
" I; @9 L0 h7 ?& {# KIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board.
