I have been looking into Windermere.. @( a. G' ]: ?9 @; x) a1 e
My personal opinion, Ambleside South is the worst of all Windermere sub-area.

As you said, traffic is an issue, you can only take either Ellerslie Road or 170 St.
1 W; B/ ^$ k$ G7 g zJust Ellerslie is serving many sub-areas, Glenridding, Graydon Hill, Kerwick, Ambleside South.
5 s& s1 ]7 t/ uThe City just did some upgrade to the road, and I am not sure if there is plan to expand into two lanes./ ]! `- D b2 I1 _: \0 Z1 s7 r

What type of housing you are looking for?. t& B/ C' x" c5 ?: y! x! r
That area is full of duplex and rear lane houses, 100% sure parking will be an issue.
