I have been looking into Windermere.
! {5 Z: b, t7 f% b5 w8 LMy personal opinion, Ambleside South is the worst of all Windermere sub-area., x/ W3 E0 z( a2 I8 j

As you said, traffic is an issue, you can only take either Ellerslie Road or 170 St.1 X. ]# \9 u# J- ^" ^
Just Ellerslie is serving many sub-areas, Glenridding, Graydon Hill, Kerwick, Ambleside South.
2 m! P+ H0 N! f- _$ jThe City just did some upgrade to the road, and I am not sure if there is plan to expand into two lanes.

What type of housing you are looking for?
3 E3 E+ y, v$ J9 }* o5 \That area is full of duplex and rear lane houses, 100% sure parking will be an issue.
6 ?% w1 Q0 M+ _8 SDon't understand why people with detached garages like to park on the street.
