买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
/ N6 \8 d! D& [& |0 b' D•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
7 G* v! B4 n( n0 |•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
% |& k# i* F, T9 {So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

. a) I% l4 W2 r6 o; s$ ?8 K在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. ' `0 e' q2 v" \; c/ P2 R

# I; V% D& ~; V* q9 l3 UThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000., p# `) x1 g! i4 m! t: n

When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
