买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

: L3 Z9 K5 \$ N- t! F" t0 NYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:$ x2 U9 \5 ?: i$ x% w) U% ^
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
3 ]6 i2 o+ z/ y' Z+ L( w! f. D•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).& H4 K9 m* X6 P; T5 S$ L
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

只要是第一次买房,都可以。

  M( o  U8 N# o  YA qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction.

    single-family houses;

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.
