Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 1 _0 ^5 `: ^! }2 j! s/ u3 ^
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds ) E3 M% o' w5 ]. Q- {

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 9 Y& f) \, U C3 h' h# D

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
% m- c+ v) s$ O) Y& r/ mactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend % `; v4 f8 n0 a
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday % A9 g4 e9 A( K, h( l. k9 |
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in - o5 \1 ~, k l3 P- f
Hawrelak Park.5 P% \+ b! _9 b2 g/ @$ H
4 H' o5 y& O1 K; J% hYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 4 Y) ]( G8 i: {
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 2 _1 F5 \; q0 {- d* s3 ~7 H
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
* H2 {& J& W3 @% y/ Q# E" m# {: Bto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
! K) r5 b# X; P. r2 w- Wyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : f- n( G. a* l2 l" Y
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 9 U" m8 S" Q' r- Y! M
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 8 L- B4 k( f: V1 @& j6 V
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
? c) H4 Z1 A' u; ~( {4 t2 uComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
$ u: J$ s) j% ^2 P0 H3 y* UInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and , e( l4 Y! A! @% G1 f7 n
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the * [# k$ @5 O" p8 i
two days of Orientation).
