to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds & t. w, t- }9 d, V6 h* M8 A
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
0 q4 G$ C- B0 {5 ^' Tlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth + s; _+ p$ Y1 w. ?( g

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
2 P3 n" s% Z5 d" d0 _activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend : b: Z' A7 J9 K7 C& k. g. L: {5 s
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
- [# ?. s3 R3 u- k8 c, U: F" pevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in - }8 {+ H5 t* { c

* M$ p) `, H1 H) g! sYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
7 b0 t' v- I3 C2 ZSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
; b }$ C+ V- f) \and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
, O6 j; A" S1 t/ _) x: V! rto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
" x4 P1 P: S- e+ D( h8 s8 [your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
$ r. O( M; g" f# C# dONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process , Z6 `% {! d6 m& m
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 3 q6 r: Y8 u) `3 [ f
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
* Y" `! p* t- z! QComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
6 t( j ~% ~8 K6 V8 iInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
* s7 R8 ?5 w p( Y# [! Gbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
4 I9 e0 `$ }, H) o' ftwo days of Orientation).. Y& Z/ P, M! @3 x- {4 D1 N0 {
