从人口普查及政府数据库的数据来看加拿大人的生活

读了多篇加拿大2011年人口普查the 2011 census and related surveys ，以及综合Statistics Canada 数据库的数据，从大的范围来年加拿大人的生活是怎样的。
这些数据是来自人口普查，应该是最客观、最真实反映了加拿大人目前的社会结构。这对自己处于什么样的位置，将来往那个目标努力，应该是有帮助的，做到知己知彼。
这是纯英文的内容，我是根据自己的英文水平来讲述，不一定精确，也没有太多时间核对翻译的内容。

Wealthiest 1% earn 10 times more than average Canadian

加拿大的上层收入社会，就是占据最高1%的群体，共有272,600 人。他们的最低年收入是19万1千。

在这个群体中，卡城的比例最高，占2.9%，即约每30个卡城人中，就有一个年收入超过19万的。
其次是多伦多，有1.6%，约62个多伦多人中，就有一人年收入超过19万。
第三是爱城，有1.5%，
第四是温哥华，有1.2%。

在这顶上的1%中，Married, middle-aged men dominate，就是说是传统的白人男性占主流，这些人都是结婚的，年龄在45到64岁数占主流。
这是一组顶级收入的数据
10% of income earners $80,400*
1% of income earners $191,100*
0.1% of income earners $685,000**
0.01% of income earners $2.57 million**

原文是这样说的Statistics Canada has also shown that the overwhelming majority (90 per cent in 2010) of those in the top one per cent income group are white.
来自政府的数据核实90%是白人，不含糊。

One percenters are an educated lot. More than two-thirds of them have a university degree. Among the general population over the age of 15, only 20.9 per cent could say the same thing.
1%顶收入中，有66%是有本科学历的。

但有一组数据是特别的，就是But standing alongside the educated members of the one per cent group are the surprising three per cent of them who had no certificate or degree — not even a high school diploma. This small group of pull-themselves-up-by-the-bootstraps high-income earners managed to have higher average incomes than even the one percenters with a degree — $405,100.
即这顶级人物中，其中的3%，就是8千多人，是连高中学历都没有的，但平均即赚年薪40多万。这也是中国人所说的行行出状元。

Immigrants making more than median，such as Japanese immigrants, are also well above the median.
移民收入比中值高，特点是日本移民，远高于中值。

While the national median annual income for a full-time worker is $50,699, the median for a visible-minority worker is just $45,128. For a First Nations full-time worker, the median income is $41,684.
全职收入的中值是5万多一点。有色人种是4万5，而土著人是4万1.

以前讲的是全国人口算的，老幼都算。而全职当年是一部分人，不是每个人都是全职，如小孩就绝不是全职的。

69% of households own home
是有69%的是自己买房，即暗示有41%的人是租房住。
Overall, 58.6 per cent of homeowners were still paying off their mortgages according to the 2011 survey. That's up from 57.9 per cent in 2006 and 55.2 in 2001. In 1991, it was 51.5 per cent.
有58.6%的人是仍然付买房货款，也暗示有42%的人是还清货款的，这42%的人真幸福。

Toronto was the most costly city to maintain a home, at $1,366 a month, while Trois-Rivières, Que., was the cheapest at $697.

It shows that the median family income in Canada is $76,000 — generally higher in the west than the east — while the median individual income is just $27,600. That means just as many individuals earn less than $27,600 as earn more.
全国中值家庭收入7万6；
单个人中值收入是2万7。这里‘中值’的意思是收入多于2万7的与小于2万7的人数一样多。这不是平均值，是因为赚钱不是均匀的。而人个年收入的平均值是3万8.

Wealthy conform to traditional family structure。
这也是家庭完整性的更要性。
The rich, on the other hand, are a throwback to the old days: overwhelmingly male, between the ages of 45 and 54, almost always married or living in a common-law relationship。
富人都回复到以往的日子，是结婚或同居的。中年人担主角，45-54岁.
虽然上层社会都是由男性统治的，但他们基本都是结婚，这也可以看出家庭主妇的贡献，这些客观数据真正应了一名句名言‘成功的男人背后离不开一个得力的女人’。

这些数据也反映了在加拿大生活好，还是在中国生活好。
加拿大是发达社会，如果你的家庭年收入超过7万6，在加拿大一家人的生活肯定不比国内差。
如果你能找到5万年收入的工作，你的工作不会比中国差。

每种人都有其优点与缺点。如果你在国内赚了大钱，在这里可以付清货款，那么，一般你的技能就在国内消耗完了。
我在卡城的一位朋友，他在国内是省会一个大型国企的副总工程师，其夫人也来自富豪家庭。在这里虽然买了两套房子，都是付清货款的，但他英语就不象我那样努力了。所以怎么也无法找到对口专业的工作。以前是做移民顾问，一年也可以赚一百万人民币，但二三年光景一过，移民顾问这条路就彻底死了。
一栋普通房子月租就是一两千，要三五套房子才达到一个中低级工程师的月收入。
象你的收入，以1600月租一套的房子，要多少套？
我的观点，还是要融入加拿大社会，在加拿大土地上扎根。
