Primary Objective/Duties of position:

. T, B$ q( |- A7 K% O9 v Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals. A+ t7 t* t7 f( C* s" C" r+ K7 J, m
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
, n) v1 W$ L, u Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients- y+ z8 x; y2 m3 Z
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
9 {& d$ Y5 B; O5 K9 ? Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals0 ^( f3 M' d0 v z" S
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes) H0 X- F# V# n- ?
Actively participate in training initiatives

; l% \' N( Z! D, J0 x6 PThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

High School and or Post Secondary Education9 t: G: Y% f& D; s8 @
Previous customer service experience F8 ~6 F* `# G% ?
Previous sales experience an asset- G) I3 n( E I. A) P0 }/ M- S
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain6 h: p; z/ N1 V5 n) M
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully4 s5 x% a. O. h4 z/ |" o* Y! k
Strong analytical and organizational skills. r L5 x) x' y A0 @3 a3 w
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. J$ A6 ]# w! g
