Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

) _% d4 f& m4 b+ ?Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
3 O$ t- k4 h- X- H+ X9 @1 u    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
- Q3 B/ H- Q) @    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
4 z) O3 S  R1 W2 b* J& J    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
1 O! l1 |% g3 J7 b  B' A% z    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

- m" A' K  o6 [( y/ MThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    High School and or Post Secondary Education
2 h* @4 R( l. |    Previous customer service experience
+ T$ `/ ~" x4 y3 w4 O7 d* {    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
; P/ |2 p3 \8 h5 b+ @9 w9 P    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* C3 P/ z; N, c3 ]! f    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
