Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:

: {, r+ p' Q p• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
. X% @; F/ E2 ?! y
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

/ W7 b5 h: \/ z• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
) j1 [8 e2 L3 y" a* E( X9 d
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
1 O& d* V4 u- D0 v+ M4 C( T0 W
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
, w& k- ^' S+ w0 a$ a; z' D9 Q
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
. o( U6 A* f+ n9 S
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
0 S2 B- W% n5 t+ A( A
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.& r8 C0 j9 t, T

• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
