•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
7 l% A* D5 Y* C2 l* S•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
6 z) @- B2 a: l% [( W, y•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting ` c0 E0 Y# a. F
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.+ m7 ?9 s1 q5 z- j
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

+ F. Y1 c0 l# e" R6 KQualifications:
8 p. v4 v9 q8 i•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
9 w4 w# P( X! i" _! ?+ ]- _•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
% e+ a9 r1 T9 j; w•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
6 F0 I5 h; y) H+ z' N•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ! \0 ?4 `5 R3 U; Q
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
