Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

& u) f* \4 y8 U, PWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
: J4 Y5 z, s6 k) {) E Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
% g6 o# H& B0 P/ z3 `* V( E Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
5 q/ R4 g" V3 o" Z$ Y# Q3 k6 O! z. r) w Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
) w8 ?* r' d* `( f An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
