Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

. b9 n3 ^2 o% d6 {We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

, H' {- ^, z8 f0 r: w- i* ^The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
2 Y& c6 F9 d. O' Z Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
$ t4 F* H: s" S0 a Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
) W' `$ K1 T' a: m2 W1 B Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
- h0 u& T2 ]  |2 @+ y Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
% M8 F6 R6 G3 B, i Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
: c4 w" L2 U2 m, X8 x Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
