最近大量成功人士包括妇老幼加入冰钓活动,那就得谈谈fish这个词 6 K/ I0 H# { {: o5 dFish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。 7 o1 G* E1 s1 i1 fFish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), ( q2 n$ v1 a" R( R/ V" p1 k W说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。 + c8 k$ r" g. x2 n5 U我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。0 R" V$ T+ x9 j7 p8 u
难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 , v2 M$ P/ E( Z, T. ^

We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. * p- Z1 {+ ]: Y+ ^+ J/ | - S6 b8 d* I9 |; P5 B% `Fish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
