Job Responsibilities
' V9 K, ?7 H! G$ R& t•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
' t& P$ u6 {% ^4 U' B5 \0 n•        Oversee hotel security requirements. % X+ v( s) q) Z5 ?  L& z3 C6 Q
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
; I0 X" t9 q% U+ V) r•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
5 ]! Y& m* [; V. U. F7 a5 {•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
/ f1 u* Q7 ?1 r& ^) @•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.; Z# e: ~1 u6 F) P6 `
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
$ v: O( X6 ~; \7 m* m- g, R•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave., K5 g# N( F  ?2 [
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
8 i( U. J6 l: g2 Q! d•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
/ j1 z9 k$ S  `0 G2 V* o# E•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
# Z( l, ~- V: X) e# f•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
( j! {$ k& j# n! l•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware., m& B: C+ G/ U) Z) `
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
% @; F5 Q9 b$ A9 s•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.* E" m+ t$ f9 k" ]6 M- W
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
' f; I; H) Q% M( B$ f9 _7 l•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies- U4 m4 c  U. W+ L3 B
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:
  ~9 n5 d4 Q3 t$ a6 F8 v* D•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property! c/ j7 b. ^! N1 ], O+ @9 N
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;) C2 \( p0 w8 x3 j. }+ \
• Ability to lead and develop;/ o6 P4 o% @  J. \; {( J0 R
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;# L9 L* ?* a! E. ?4 Z/ Q2 A/ a
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;" C; l8 `' ~5 v9 [8 g; }
• Ability to work within deadlines;* I- G3 z' m7 f; l! w1 I
• High level of creativity and innovation;
